City Mouse Country Mouse

Catwings

This print is inspired by the phenomenon of sightings of “winged cats”.  The most common logical reason humans site for believing a cat has wings is due to a long haired cat developing matted fur along either side of their body in a wing like appearance.  Henry David Thoreau is the first person to haveContinue reading “Catwings”

The Trickster

It’s Time For Togetherness

This is a multi media print collage. There is an edition of a couple dozen of these collages.  It is a combination of woodcut, linoleum block, spray paint stencil, with hand stamps.  The slogan “It’s Time For Togetherness” was written by Peter Glantz and Becky Stark.

Sauerkrauter

This is the first pickling crock that I ever made.  This is a stoneware pot with a couple different cone 10 glazes. This is large enough to hold one shredded smallish size cabbage.  There is also an inner lid which is used to weigh down the cabbage and salt underneath the water so that theContinue reading “Sauerkrauter”

Sauerkrauter (detail showing inner fermentation weight)

This is another detail of the sauerkrauter showing the inner fermentation weight (used to hold down the vegetables underneath the salt water mixture) sitting inside the crock.
