This is a pickling pot (aka fermentation crock) which holds about 2-3 pounds of cabbage, to yield about 1 Quart of Sauerkraut.  You can also ferment any other vegetable in here as well. This is a combination of Cone 10 glazes in an Oxidation firing.  2011.

This is a fermentation crock that fits about 2-3 pounds of cabbage to yield roughly 1.5 Quarts of sauerkraut. It’s a Celadon glaze in an Oxidation fire at Cone 10. 2011. SOLD

This is a light brown pickle pot with bright green in the inside of the lids.  This is a crock perfect for 2-3 pounds of cabbage, yielding about 1 Quart of sauerkraut. Also great for fermenting other vegetables such as carrots, radishes, and anything else you love to ferment! 2011.Cone 10 Oxidation Firing.    

This is a pickling pot. It’s a lidded vessel with a ceramic weight that fits inside the crock to hold vegetables under water for fermentation. It’s great for cabbage, small cucumbers, radish, or anything else you want to ferment. SOLD

This is a part of a series of teapots inspired by mushrooms.  This one is an earthy brown like the forest floor, with vibrant mushrooms poking their heads out into the air above.

Another teapot in a series of mushroom inspired teapots.  With this pot, I wanted to present a wild, colorful pot that might be found in the kitchen of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
